lyrics
“Of Stillness And Space”
Here’s one more sheet to stain
With splatters from rearview mirrors
Well it’s a dangerous path
Like picking flowers in a city
Like Starkville, Mississippi
How original of me to call your name
When silent ink spots, they all end the same
And I’ll remain at war
With the shadows at your pace
To reclaim my share of stillness and space
You left with
My twisted lover
Calm your martyrs
They echo
In quiet night skies
And peaceful timelines
You’ll let go
Jiminy Cricket wrote her name
On prison walls filled with shame
And all the stars of Bethlehem sang
On and on and on and on
I will haunt you
And you who wrote the perfect plan
On prison walls filled with shame
Remind the stars of Bethlehem
To sing on and on and on
For I will haunt you

This is the one of the most crazy dense albums I've ever listened to. I guess it's progressive sludge like Mastodon or Baroness, but much more chaotic than either of those two bands. Despite this, the album is still quite catchy. This is definitely one of the more interesting modern metal bands that doesn't rely on any gimmicks. ganondox

Heaviest thing I’ve heard all year along with Altarage. Okay I’ve been listening to this record for the past two weeks and it just gets better and better. Dissonant grooves galore Jacob Ballance

The song structures say Gorguts by way of Ion Dissonance. Guitar tone says Gojira by way of The Red Chord?! Interesting stuff, a big step up from their last album. Ghuughra
